I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families seeking change and healing within their lives and relationships. I received a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I use a systemic approach to address the many factors influencing the client's life and collaborate with them in pursuit of their goals. As a systemic therapist, my primary aim is to assist clients in recognizing their own ability to lead more authentic and meaningful lives.
My experience includes working with clients on a variety of issues, including: anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, trauma, parenting, and communication. By providing a supportive, nonjudgmental environment for those hoping to experience growth, clients are able to increase their understanding of themselves and their relationships. Through increased awareness, clients are able to overcome insufficient patterns and improve the quality of their lives.
We all need connection and relationships in order to thrive. Oftentimes, these very connections cause great joy as well as strife. The therapeutic process I offer is able to encompass both the positive and the negative experiences one encounters throughout their life. I strive to help others create the changes they desire for their family, relationships, and themselves.
I am available on Mondays with flexible hours throughout the day. I currently accept BCBS insurance, private pay and some sliding scale clients.
