I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults as individuals and within their relationships. I received a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a concentration in children and family counseling. I believe therapy is an interactive process in which we work together to help you reach your goals. Whether the challenges you or your child face are longstanding struggles or current symptoms related to life stressors and/or transitions, we will work together to help you make changes to your life.
My clinical experience has been with non-profit agencies and outpatient, working with children and adults treating various problems including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, grief, ADHD, and parenting. I have training in evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
