Gina Eddy, LCMHC, NCC

I became interested in helping individuals attain their unique potential at a very early age.  Encouraged and motivated by my own life’s journey, I gained the understanding that each of us has the unique ability to attain many of the rewards in life through individualized support and guidance.

As a therapist, I accept and appreciate your uniqueness and am personally encouraged by the discoveries you make during your time in therapy.  I provide compassion, empathy, and acceptance to ease any discomfort that may surface during your self-discovery.  Through a down-to-earth approach, I become very sensitive to your needs and readiness for change and will not hesitate to ask tough questions when necessary to encourage self-reflection and examination.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in both Carolinas, and have successfully worked with varying ages from many cultures, backgrounds, and circumstances.  I use a wide range of approaches and interventions that are catered to that unique individual.  I hold a special place in my heart for children and adults of all ages and all types--those who may have endured severe traumas or those who may simply need someone to listen.  I treat Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Behavioral Problems, ADHD, and Aggressive Behaviors. I specialize in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy to encourage conflict resolution, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.

I am in-network with Aetna, Cigna, MedCost, CBHA, BCBS and Optum/UHC. Please note: for those with whom I am considered out-of-network, I will work with you financially.

The best way to reach me is by texting or calling 980-257-6705 or by emailing [email protected].
